Gadoua understands the value of children being active in their daily lives and through our partnership with FONDS SPORT JEUNESSE™ in collaboration with SportsQuebec; we strive to encourage our young athletes to accomplish their goals!
During January and February 2010, 25¢* from the purchase of any Gadoua product was donated to ‘Mes premiers Jeux’ Caravan program. This amazing program gives Quebecois children and their families an easy and fun way to be introduced to sports and healthy living.
We know that through sport kids can;
- Learn healthy habits that will last their whole lives;
- Gain valuable life lessons and skills including team play, leadership, hard work, dedication and self confidence;
- Get access to mentorship and guidance from coaches

Mes premiers Jeux supports approximately 500 different organizations that specialize in encouraging children to be more active. Gadoua is supporting a very special initiative run by the FONDS SPORT JEUNESSE™ organization called the Caravan. Caravan program activates three to four events a year throughout Quebec – each one focused on introducing children (6-12 yrs) to sport by allowing different federations and coaches to teach their sports at an event. At these Caravan events, the children receive a brief introduction and a chance to try each sport. Parents are then provided with all the information needed to get their children involved. 40,000 kids have participated in the Premiers Jeux program with approximately 1000 a year taking part in the Caravan.
